It is the season of giving…Annual Giving Tree Project

The Giving Tree Project is an Advent Tradition in our parish.  The Social Action  Committee coordinates this project to help those in need in our community.

The Giving Trees are decorated with ornament tags, each naming a needed gift (many options are gift cards). Please take a tag, or two, from a Giving Tree, and return a gift, or gift card, with the tag attached.

When: before and after weekend massesNo later than Sunday, December 14, 6:00pm Please do not leave gifts at other times.

If you would like to support this drive through a monetary donation, please use online giving, place in the collection basket or mail to the office.  Please be sure any cash or check gifts are clearly labeled.

Contact: Carole Mulready caroleannmul@gmail.com with questions or to be a helper with gift collection at mass or in sorting for distributing to the recipients.

Why do this?  It makes a difference according to the agencies. As Town of West Hartford Social Services said: Thanks to you, the lives of more than 200 very needy West Hartford children were brightened…”.

This is a difficult time for many; please do what you can to help.
